Join us aboard Scamper, a thirty-six foot fantail launch built in 1920 and painstakingly restored to her unique elegance, has been plying the waters of Puget Sound for over eighty years. Today she is offering extraordinary cruising opportunities in one of the most beautiful locations in the world. Scamper departs daily from Friday Harbor, in the breathtaking San Juan Islands of Washington. Captain Geoff Pratt, Friday Harbor local and U.S. Coast Guard licensed skipper will make your cruise an experience to remember. Just sixty miles north of Seattle, the San Juans consist of over 170 different islands, 80 of those protected as National Wildlife Refuges. Wildlife abounds everywhere. Bald eagles soar above the tree line while a harbor seal pokes its head above the water to investigate as Scamper slides by. Then of course the famed killer whale surfaces off the bow.
